Annies has been around forever. Basically just a takeout and delivery establishment, with just a few seats inside at the counter that faces the parking lot. I have been getting deliveries from here for so many years and have never had any real issues. I am extremely critical of any and all pizza. I was born and raised in New York. So I will admit that I am a pizza snob. I really only like pizza from two places and both are in Boca. The pizza here is not my thing. I have friends and neighbors that absolutely love Annies pizza. So it must be pretty darn good. I am writing this five star review based only on the food. I love meatballs and the meatballs here are terrific. On a hero or as a side dish they are wonderful. The chicken parmesan is delicious too. I like the eggplant but my favorite hero would definitely be the meatballs. I haven't tried any of the cold subs yet but they look delicious. I had some friends over last week and I ordered wings. I normally wouldn't order wings from a pizza place but OMG these wings were outrageous! Even the blue cheese was good. I'm not sure if the blue cheese was homemade or from a jar but it was great. We had the hot garlic wings and also the medium. Both were excellent but I love garlic and the hot garlic sauce was yummy. I love wings and these wings were better than some of the restaurants that are known for wings. I was really surprised at how good they were. Definitely try them if you can. Delivery has always been good. Lately though picking up has just been easier. They have some great lunch specials too. I would definitely recommend Annies if your looking for reasonably priced Italian takeout or wings.

The delivery time was faster than anticipated, which is always a great start. The garlic knots were very fresh and the broccoli & cheese appetizer was very good, as it did not have an overabundance of either flavor. As for their grilled chicken ceaser salad and eggplant rollitini, both were quite good, although the eggplant was a little mushy. Overall, the food was very good and I will be ordering from here again!

I was heading out of Penn Dutch with a full trunk of groceries, but the prospect of carrying all those groceries in the house, then putting them away, and THEN making something out of them was just too overwhelming for me. I pulled out Yelp and noticed I had Annie's bookmarked, it is essentially across the street from Penn Dutch, so I stopped in to get a sub for dinner. I ordered the ten inch sub with ham, turkey, roast beef, and american. They have a wide selection of toppings you can choose from (probably just as many as subway) and they use Boar's head meat. My order didn't take long at all and I was on my home. After carrying in and putting away all the groceries (ugh) I started the sub. It was quite delicious with a generous portion of meat and toppings. The bread tasted very fresh. I had ordered the medium ten inch sub and split it with my brother, we also had some chips with it, but this was more than enough. I do with they offered a size between the medium ten inch sub and the large sub..,I think the large is something ridiculous like 18 inches and is nearly $20. In terms of the restaurant it seems to be mostly a take out place, but there are a few tables and a "bar" area you can eat at. I saw a few people grabbing slices of pizza and they looked delicious, so I will probably be exploring the menu here further, but hopefully next time I will do it when I don't have a car full of groceries. I need some self discipline.

I got tired of seeing all of Fox E's pictures of pizza..it was killing me!! So I figured I would try Annie's on my way to the store...never shop hungry...lol..that's my rationalization and I'm sticking to it. Speaking of sticking. .the slice (I actually got the 2 slices and a soda for 6 bucks, taking a slice home for dad) was so cheesy it was dangling from my teeth when i took my first bite!!. My slice is Huge!!! Not greasy at all nice crisp crust and the cheese as you see is gooey. I really love great pizza and this is a great tasting pie. Anthony came over greeted me and asked if this was my first time here..it was..I was happy to see the Yelp sticker on their for (always a great sign!!!) I also like the 2 piece special because you get a can of soda or water and not fountain soda which can set omen be flat and overly sugary. I grabbed a menu because they deliver to my development which is also great as it will save me.a night of cooking. I will order or come on again.i liked the pizza a lot.

Extremely bland and tasteless food. Overrated and not worth the money. I have been here a few times and I must say I will never go back even if they were the only pizza place left.

I order from them every week or so. The pizza is pretty good. I love the garlic rolls. Philly steak is awesome! They are polite and have only messed up on my order once in the entire 1 1/2 -2 years that I have been ordering from them (AND they went back to get what they had left and came right back with it). I have never been to the restaurant, but for delivery, they are pretty good. I definitely recommend them.

We always order pizza for pickup here. The pizza is GOOD for Florida pizza. Always order it well done. Also, the cheesy garlic Rolls are really good. If this was NY they would only get 3 stars but considering this is Florida they definitely deserve 5. Best pizza we have ever had in this state for sure. Wish we lived a little bit closer, but we travel all The way here from deerfield beach. That should tell you something! Never been to any of the sister locations but definitely recommend this one. Give it a shot!

I ordered a pizza and went to pick it up, only be to told that they weren't honoring the price. They wanted to charge me $2.15 extra + $1 surcharge. When I confronted them, they said their website wasn't listing the price correctly and refused to honor their website price. After arguing with me, they knocked the $1 surcharge off... big deal. The pizza itself was ehhh so-so. Sauce was a bit watery and in the center of the pie the dough was undercooked. Overall, it isn't worth the price, the argument or the attitude.

Best pizza in town. Meatball sub off the chain. Service & staff are very friendly. You can eat in, delivery or pick up.

Last time I ordered delivery it took over an hour and a half. When my food arrived it was cold and in a wet paper bag. When I called asking where my order was they placed me on hold and someone simply stated they were having problems and it would be there soon. I paid over 25 dollars and felt they had no concern for the wait or quality. I work at a restaurant and I would NEVER expect a guest to pay for an experience so horrible. I will never order from here again

Giving this place a 3 out of 5 stars which is a pretty good restaurant rating. It's not as welcoming as most places, seen a worker eating around the kitchen area which is never okay when your dealing with other peoples food! I ordered the lunch lasagne comes with 2 garlic rolls and a can soda for a little less than $9.00. I waited about 10 minutes and got my food and drink to go. The garlic rolls are very good and needed because the lasagne was very saucy. The meat in the lasagne is all ground beef and dry! The cheese was typical mozzarella and ricotta. I wouldn't get it again. The portion is a good size considering it is a lunch portion and the drink was very cold. I have tried their pepperoni pizza slice before and it was pretty good. I would eat at this restaurant again just won't order the lasagne.

Awesome subs!!!! This is the only place I know of where you can order an 18 inch extra large sub. That's exactly what we did one night. My husband ordered an extra large meatball sub and I ordered an extra large chicken parm for delivery. We were starving and didn't feel like driving anywhere. Annie's to the rescue!!! They were great, they came on time and were friendly and efficient. The subs were delicious. They were cut into three different subs so of course we had leftovers for the next day. We definitely recommend annie's pizza and subs.

Located in a strip mall...this place get busy and they can't seem to keep things organized. It's a madhouse to get your order. We tried the Cheezy Crust Pizza (had it at another location and loved it) and they made it wrong. The cheese is supposed to go to the edge of the crust...this was bascially a regular square pizza. Probably won't go back.

This is the best pizza delivery you can find in margate/coral springs area. The pizza is New York style and you can taste a difference in the ingredients. The cheese is sooooo yummy and fresh tasting. They have great pasta and meatballs and salads too. This is our go to pizza delivery now. I will never order papa johns again!!!! Drivers are always fast and courteous. Thanks Annie's!!! Note that this place is not connected with Annie's in Coral Springs. Completely different and much better.

This review is easy...walked in on July 17 to get a sub, then turned right around and left. They don't have any sit-down tables......just a counter against the front window and high chairs. Couldn't believe it....one of their sister restaurants, Grande in Plantation, has tables. Well, maybe Annies is good for takeout or delivery, but I won't be going back.

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.

Pizza

Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.

Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.

Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.
